        Workers protest against privatization

        Cairo 2012 - The former state-owned TV-factory Telemisr was privatized. Now the investor wants to close it and sack the employees, so he can use the piece of land where the factory stands for a real estate deal.


        "This is no investment, it's colonialism", says one of the workers. They demand that the prime minister prohibits the factory closure. Other demands are re-nationalization and punishment for the corruption that went on in connection with the privatization.
