Queen fought against wage theft in court. Her employer, Grün Deli, had withheld her wages while she was on sick leave. Grün Deli is developing “the lifestyle food brand of the future” and is obviously struggling to comply with labor law. The company is not alone in this: “Sometimes they do this because of our residence status. They know that we have a temporary residence permit,” Queen says in the video.

The labor court ruled that Queen must receive her full wages.

Queen emphasizes that she has received a lot of help and solidarity, especially from the International Women's Space, the solidarity fund for labor disputes Payday e.V. and the Berliner Beratungszentrum für Migration und gute Arbeit (BEMA).
