        Cage Homes in Hong Kong

        December 20, 2005 Hong Kong - visit to a cage home. Working poor, unemployed people and their families live here. A 'home' is the upper or lower part of a story bed. Social worker Sze Lai Shang of the 'Society for Community Organization' in Hong Kong says that a total of 150,000 people in Hong Kong live in inadequate circumstances. She also states that conditions are going to worsen for Hong Kong's poor when the city opens up its markets.
