        Plyta

Film about a wildcat strike at the Cegielski factory in Poznan/Poland, which produces ship engines.

"Our wages are so low that we have to get into debt in order to live", says a protester at the beginning of this documentary. In 2008 Cegielski workers wanted to negotiate a pay rise. When the management refuses negotiations they go on a spontaneous wildcat strike.

These strikes, called "Plyta", have been a tradition in this factory since 1956.
