CSAAWU Address November 22, 2010

An urgent appeal to the international community, sent out by two secretaries of the farm worker union CSAAWU. They are furious, talking about a shop steward, who is about to be dismissed: "He is a person who cannot read or write, but he is someone who has great instinct and a vision. He wants to see improvement in the living conditions of the poor and the farm workers."
The union, which has been active for the past three years, had made a video on the situation of the farmworkers. This video received a lot of attention, and the farmers reacted with repression. - Solidarity!
